- Likes and comments history on that post typically remain associated while archived — followers cannot see the post.
Stories
- Stories auto-archive if Save story to archive is enabled: Settings and activity → Archiving and downloading → Save story to archive.
- Otherwise, Stories disappear after 24 hours unless you manually save to Highlights or Archive.
Live broadcasts
- Some accounts can save Live replays to Archive depending on settings and region.
Archive does not include DMs, saved collections from other people's posts, or draft posts you never published.

Post archive कैसे करें (step-by-step)
- Open Instagram and go to your profile.
- Open the post or Reel.

- Aesthetic grid order — distracting posts archive या delete+repost (engagement loss) — real reorder नहीं।

- Hide without loss — Archive सही tool है।
Third-party apps सिर्फ layout plan करते हैं — Meta server order change नहीं।
Archive vs Highlights
- Archive — private for you; Stories और posts public view से बाहर

Archive में Story Highlights में re-share हो सकती है बिना new content post।
Archive backup क्यों नहीं
Archived content working Instagram login चाहिए। Meta account disable करे — Archive भी gone। Same for:

Pinned posts और grid aesthetics

Common Archive mistakes
- Assuming Archive frees storage on your phone — it does not; media stays on Meta servers.
